MULTI-PURPOSE FACILITY

M+J Builders completed the construction of this multi-purpose facility at the start of 2021, with the goal of bringing the community together in a custom-built space.

• Cement sheet – painted using eco tone to create a timber look ceiling
• High internal ceilings with Acoustic perforated plasterboard
• Feature concrete externally – including coloured pigment concrete & exposed aggregate
• Spotted Gum timber floors
• Feature tiles in bathrooms
• Colourbond steel externally in Basalt
• Disabled access bathroom
• Landscaping with local and strong NT plants and new irrigation system
• Planter boxes
• Edge double BBQ with sink
• Separation glass panels to spaces so the hall can be used by 2 different user groups at a time

REVITALISING CULLEN BAY

M+J Builders completed a rewarding project in Cullen Bay as a part of the precinct revitalisation project.

Alongside other key contractors, the goal of the project was to attract locals and visitors to the precinct by creating a stronger connection between the beachfront and the marina.

• Installation of three shade structures around the Marina
  
• Installation of seating, paving, concrete and arbours over shops - the goal here was to create informal seating and gathering spaces
  
• Installation of lighting that creates eye-catching art effects, bringing the space to life at night
  
• Built disabled access to the beach and gardens
