What we are looking for:
That you understand the dynamic nature of construction environments and proactively identify potential hazards.
A dynamic leader who ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards. You will combine strong technical knowledge with excellent communication, guiding teams and engaging stakeholders effectively.
You are skilled in planning, scheduling, and cost management, they anticipate risks and provide practical solutions. With a strong focus on compliance, health, and safety, maintaining legal and regulatory standards across every project.
Core Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project plans outlining timelines, milestones, and resource requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Establish and manage project budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation and cost control.
- Monitor project expenses and provide regular financial reports to stakeholders.
- Lead and motivate project teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and support staff.
- Foster a collaborative work environment, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
- Provide scope of works for each and every trade
- Work with construction & preconstruction manger to resource the project for both preliminaries’ buildup and for the tender submission
- Work with subcontractors throughout the tender period to define scopes, value management and lead innovation strategies
- Ensure we have good subbie coverage and will get competitive pricing for all trades
- Write the tender program understanding client expectations and understanding subcontractors’ capacities and supply chain pressures.
Educational Requirements and Relevant Experience
- General construction induction training card - White Card
- Drivers license
- Experience in Estimating, Project Management or similar
- At least 3 years within the Construction Industry
