About you:


As an Administrator, you play a pivotal role in protecting the commercial and operational interests of construction projects by ensuring the accurate, timely, and compliant management of all related processes. This position involves assisting with the preparation and maintenance of documentation, coordinating claims, liaising with stakeholders, and supporting project teams in meeting contractual and regulatory insurance obligations.


A strong understanding of insurance requirements in the construction industry, risk mitigation strategies, and document management processes is essential to minimise exposure and support project continuity and compliance.


Core Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Ensure all insurance administration activities comply with NT WHS legislation, industry codes of practice, and M+J Builders' policies and procedures.
  • Register new jobs in WorkflowMax, create and maintain organised digital and physical job folders, and ensure documentation is accurately saved and up to date.
  • Coordinate make safe jobs with supervisors, edit and submit reports and quotes to insurance companies, and track job progress through Endata and Wilbur.
  • Liaise with insurance companies and clients to provide timely updates, confirm bookings, and manage documentation through portals or email.
  • Respond to insurers and contact clients within 1 business hours of receiving approvals for quotes, scopes, make safes, or variations.
  • Upload completion certificates within 24 business hours, and maintain job and portal data with 95% accuracy or higher.
  • Support supervisors by ensuring timely close-out of job files, including securing signed approvals and chasing payments or documentation from clients.
  • Take clear meeting minutes, contribute to risk mitigation through accurate recordkeeping, and maintain open, respectful communication with all stakeholders.

Educational Requirements and Relevant Experience: 


  • General construction induction training card - White Card
  • Drivers licence 
  • At least 1 years within the Construction Industry
  • Qualification in Business Administration is preferred
